Who are we?

Jenny and Pete are a married couple from Essex, England. Jenny has a secretarial/retail background and Pete has taught in Primary Schools for 31 years, ten of which were as Deputy Headteacher. We are now living in San Ginesio.

Having enjoyed holidays in various parts of Italy, we finally discovered the beauty of Le Marche three years ago and decided that this was the region we wished to make our future home. So early in 2004 we bought a farmhouse, just outside San Ginesio and are now in the process of having it renovated. When finished it will provide a permanent home for ourselves.

For Pete, this was the culmination of a life-long ambition to make his home in Italy, the land of his maternal grandfather. For Jenny, it was an opportunity to make an exciting and challenging change of lifestyle and to share in Pete's dream!
